What do we mean when we say Community groups?
Community Groups are the heart of Christian fellowship and service at Life Bridge.
These are mid-sized groups that meet on Sunday mornings after the worship service.

with God and others
We study God's word, pray, and have a ton of fun and fellowship together. Two key goals of biblical community are drawing near to Jesus and doing life together as His body. We teach the Scriptures, discuss theology, pray, play, serve, and generally love to be together.
Community Groups are like smaller, intergenerational churches within the larger one -- where you can really get to know your brothers and sisters in Christ.

at church, in the community & around the world
Whether it's participating in a ministry at church, or practically working to help our neighbors, or supporting missionaries traveling to distant lands for the gospel, we honor the Lord by serving together. This is how we love God: by serving one another, and by proclaiming Christ - both in word and deed - especially to those who have never known his love.
Community Groups are the place where we practically learn to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40).

in knowledge, obedience & relationships
The word of God is the foundation of the Christian life. We gather together to study and discuss the Scriptures, and to be doer's of the word not hearers only (James 1:22). And we do so in community.
Community Groups are a great place to become more like Jesus as we practice the "one another's" of Scripture.

into our homes, our neighborhoods & our world
Life Bridge is about really living out the gospel, really obeying the Lord, and really learning to love like Jesus. And you can't do that unless you go out and engage others. This starts in the home, and from there, extends to our next door neighbors, to people in far off lands, and everyone in between.
Community Groups sponsor events in members' homes, invite neighbors to gather together, and sponsor missionaries taking the gospel around the globe.
